In this paper, we will employ the variational iteration method to find the approximate solution of one-dimensional fractional order partial integro-differential equations. Sometimes, the variational iteration method VIM is a highly efficient technique used to approximate analytical solution of fractional differential equations, applicability of VIM to the one-dimensional fractional order partial integro-differential equations has not been studied in details previously in the literatures. Details of this method are presented also in this paper.
