1. We have been collecting batteries from customers in the field and surveying the degree of battery deterioration after use to verify the appropriateness of our pre-launch fleet test methods and results. 2. We have been collecting batteries from both HVs and PHVs. The results of surveys into safety, electrical, mechanical, and materials performance have verified that our pre-launch fleet test methods and results are appropriate. 3. We have been collecting and evaluating batteries from customers as they use their vehicles for more than twenty years. We will continue this approach to develop vehicles that people can drive safely and with peace of mind.
