The famous modem Japanese designer Arata Endo with Changchun new building modern buildings

This paper attempts to have a in-depth analysis of the characteristics of modern architectural works of the Arata Endo in Changchun which will make a comparison with the other creative architects in China in the same period, in order to excavated the creating new ideas in China and make a comprehensive definition. Arata endo, a excellent student of Lloyd Wright, was a well-known architect of modern Japanese. During the period of three provinces in northeast China became Japanese colonial,he brought the prairie house style to the "new Beijing",which is today's changchun. Arata endo's architectural works in Changchun not only reflect the closest natural "organic" thought,but also reflects and local geography and the traditional Chinese culture of combining the design concept.when Japanese militarism emphasis on the "emperor crown type" architectural style in the period, the construction works reflects the creation is very different ideas. Arata Endo (June 1, 1889), was born in Japan FuDaoXian horses county futian village (now Japan's new parking) to September 1914, graduated from Tokyo imperial university engineering university architecture discipline, in January 1917 for the teacher, and worship Wright in the architectural design firm work (see fig 1). In 1923, Arata endo new set up his own architectural creation firm. His lifetime, created more than 140 items of construction works, including homes, schools, hotels, churches, hotels and businesses and so on the different function of architecture. He is abroad of building business is limited to South Korea and China, among them with in China's northeast architectural practice activities of the majority. As a loyal follower of Wright, his architecture works inherit the idea.
