License Plate Location Research based on Texture Analysis Mathematics Morphology

摘要

In the vehicle license plate recognition system, accurate position of license plate is a key step. By analyzing the texture of license plate, an algorithm based on texture analysis & mathematical morphology is proposed. Experimental results shows that this algorithm can overcome the shortcoming of low recognition rate caused by single feature algorithm, has good location effect.
