URBAN TRAFFIC DATA ACQUISITION USING THE GPS

摘要

The research paper intends to present a modern urban traffic data acquisition methodology. With the use of GPS SR 20 from Leica, the geometric determination of roads and buildings is more precise and it is easier to do it. After making the measurements from the chosen root, the data could be stored and digitized using Geo Office Soft. Having the data stored in an archive, could help other traffic simulation programs to make use of it. The data acquisition was made with the help of the students, who are writing their BA project.
