CFD has been undertaken to examine wet-gas flow through Venturi tubes. This analysis indicates that it is possible to model wet-gas flow through Venturi tubes and provide trends that follow the experimentally obtained over-reading data well especially for beta <= 0.6, although limitations in the approach were evident at 61 bar g. The method described could be further extended to examine the effect of inlet flow pattern and for other differential pressure meters, such as nozzles, orifice plates and V-cones.
