Effect of Paper Making Direction on Deformation of Paper Containers for Liquid Food under Dropping

The effect of the direction of paper making in the manufacture process of paper on the deformation of new containers for liquid food, which consist of a paper container and a liquid packaging bag and contain about 1000ml of water, subjected to impact loads due to dropping is investigated. The paper container and bag are made of a sheet of recycled paper and a plastic film, respectively. The corner and bottom drop from heights of 1m and 2m are carried out. Results show that the deformation of the new container with the direction of paper making in the transversal direction of the paper container is smaller than that in the longitudinal direction.
