摘要

The purpose of the present study is to estalish an evaluation method for a toilet unit with an air cleaning device, and then to investigate the proposed evaluation method by using a field survey. Odorant concentration in the restroom decreases with ventilations, an odor measuring instrument chamber was installed around a urinal toilet stall. The background ammonia concentration was ranged from 0[ppm] to 1446 [ppm] with urination acts, The background Methyl mercaptane was ranged from 0[ppm] to 0.0081 [ppm]. These results can be served as reference information for modeling indoor odorants released from human wastes in the toilets.
