Tools for optimising drive-away clutches and overlap control for DCT applications - Drive away clutches, DCT, clutch controls

摘要

For development of clutches and controls for a DCT, in order to be able to develop a control approach that can satisfy high quality shift requirements, a good knowledge of the complete system of electronic/hydraulic control module in combination with the clutch is required. In order to obtain this system knowledge, appropriate modelling, but also development testing tools providing a realistic load for the electronic/hydraulic control unit are necessary. Several such tools, available at HDM, have been discussed in this paper.
