摘要

The properties and structure of chalcogenide glasses are known to be sensitive to the light of bandgap energy. We have used in-situ extended x-ray absorption fine- structure (EXAFS) analysis to study the changes in local atomic structure, which are induced by laser (wavelength 690 nm) irradiation of glassy As{sub}2Se{sub}3. The results indicate the atomic configuration of both the temporary and permanent light-induced changes in the chalcogenide glass.
