Inventions team for the earlier product design definition

摘要

The main lines of a new quality product design are normally defined by the designer(s), who generally have the overall responsibility of all the phases of design. The first step after the broad product specifications is the ideas generation to produce alternative solutions. This paper is a reflection on these issues, and a proposal to split the procedure into two parts after the broad product specifications. A first Inventions Team (IT) is responsible for the supply of main quality ideas directly to the design team. The advantage of this team separation is the widest vision that quality IT can have.
