Proposal of Digital Integrated Center Stack for Future Interior Solution

摘要

Future vehicle interiors need innovative design for achieving a safe, comfortable interaction with infotainment functions. This paper proposes a prototype Digital Integrated Center Stack system which demonstrates our multimodal interaction concept for future interior solutions. It is based on two curved AMOLED touch displays and integrates touch and force sensitive surfaces, active haptic feedback, 3D camera based gesture detection and a mechanical rotary input device on top of the display. The adopted functional plastic display lens is a series-ready solution with a combined in-mold decoration and labeling approach (IMD/IML) for an optimized, reliable, cost-effective all-in-one process.
