We developed and mass-produced electrically-driven compressor system for hybrid vehicle. Even if engine stop, air conditioner can be operated by electrically-driven motor of compressor, so that engine running rate and fuel consumption reduced. This paper describes the selling points from standpoints of fuel consumption and thermal comfort by electrically driven compressor, and describes the system composition and the characteristic to accomplish such selling points.
