Conflicts between Tourism Developments and Conservation of Biological Diversity

摘要

We carried out these study on behalf of the German Federal Agency for Nature Conservation (BfN) and the German Ministry of the Environment (BMU). This study is concentrated on coastal regions, as such regions are worldwide places where tourism is particulary concentrated and at the same time constitute areas of particular significance for the diversity of ecosystems and species.
