It is a system for managing the simultaneous operation of a variety of radio modems in a single wireless communication device (WCD). Multi-radio control can be integrated into the WCD as a subsystem responsible for programming wireless communications by temporarily enabling and disabling the diversity of radio modems within the device. The multi-radio control system may comprise a multi-radio controller (MRC) and a variety of uniquely applied radio interfaces. Radio interfaces are exclusively applied to quickly transfer delay sensitive information to and from radio modems. Such information may be requested by MRC or provided by one or more of a variety of radio modems should a change occur during operation.
