Spontaneous Regression of Radiculopathic Cervical Herniated Disc after Non-surgical Treatment - 3 Cases Report -

The spontaneous regression of herniated cervical discs has not been a well-established phenomenon. We had the 3 cases of spontaneous regression of severe radiculopathic herniated cervical disc treated with non-surgical method. All patients had the manipulation and the dry needling method. Their symptoms were improved and the findings of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) at around 12 months later revealed marked regression of the herniated disc in all cases. These cases are another example of spontaneous regression of a cervical disc herniation documented by MRI after non-surgical treatment.
