摘要

The past several years the emergence of microorganisms resistant to nearly all class of antimicrobial agents has become a serious public health concern. In general, bacteria have the genetic ability to transmit and acquire resistance to the employed therapeutic agents There have been considerable interests in the chemistry of 1,3-benzothiazol-2(3H)-one ring. This heterocyclic core shows a broad spectrum of biological activity such as antibacterial, antifungal, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic- activities. In addition, 4-amino-5-thioxo-1,2,4-triazole derivatives have shown antiplatelet, antinociceptive, antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic and antiviral activities.
