Overcame chromatographic challenges associated with 3HK and QA. Prevented loss of 3HK during extraction by addition of the antioxidant ascorbic acid. Demonstrated that developed methods were suitable for formal method validations to current FDA guidelines in a GLP environment. QA plasma, QA CSF, TRP plasma, TRP CSF, and 4-analyte plasma validations complete; 4-analyte CSF validation is in progress. Screened a very small set of HD patient samples to further demonstrate each method's suitability prior to validation (n=11 or n=12).
