摘要

This paper is intended to give a general overview of the FEMME model and its applications in the nuclear field. Nuclear materials such as graphite or fiber composites have a big micro-structural complexity and this is key for all the degradation and damage processes of the full component. The model FEMME can insert the microstructure of the material in a full field FE model of the component, reaching a good solution with a reasonable computational cost.
