HOT NOISE ABSORBERS FOR ENGINE EXHAUST ENVIRONMENT

摘要

This paper deals with acoustic measurements performed on a recently developed class of noise absorbers. This materials have been developed specially for the harsh environment of aircraft engines. Preliminary measurements shows fairly good absorbing properties. Moreover, these characteristics may easily be understood within the framework of a simple fluid model. Forthcoming developments will allow the manufacturing of big-sized absorbing sheets.
