Currently, dosimetry of small fields uses radiochromic films since they have shown some advantages over other dosimeters. The radiochromic film EBT3 is the latest model of this type of films that has better attributes than their predecessors. The purpose of this work is to analyze the variation of EBT3 films response when the radiation field is reduced and how this fact can impact the measurement of total scatter factors (TSF), especially in small radiation fields. Additionally, we measure the impact of changing the film batch between measurements.
