Automatic MHEG-5 implementation of multimedia applications specified in E-LOTOS

摘要

The brazilian project Design of Distributed Multimedia Applications (DAMD) has as main goal the development of an integrated environment of tools to support the whole authoring process of distributed multimedia applications (specification, validation, implementation and testing) using the Formal Description Technique (FDT) Enhancements to Language of Temporal Ordering Specification (E-LOTOS). This project is supported by the Multi-institutional Thematic Program on Computer Sciences (ProTeM-CC), phase 3, from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). This paper aims at presenting an approach for the implementation of an automatic E-LOTOS/MHEG-5 translator, one of the tools developed on the DAMD project.
