摘要

The characteristics of the bifunctional (capacitive and gas-diffusion) hydride electrodes and the model nickel-hydride batteries based on these electrodes have been studied. It is shown that, with respect to the energy and working parameters, the system developed can be considred as a promising power source for the ground objects. In contrast to the nickel-hydrogen batteries for the space spplications, the nickel-hydride batteries contain no precious metals and use much lower working pressure of hydrogen.
