Simulation of the grind motion of teeth by a mastication simulator: hybrid control of force and motion

Developed is a mastication simulator which can simulate chewing force in addition to highly complicated 6 DOF jaw motion The power/position hybrid control system by a parallel link type motion-simulator was designed to simulate the grind motion of teeth of which experimental results are presented.
