We have developed a reaction behavior mechanism via voice detection for a mobile robot. This mechanism detects sound direction, voice, and has voice reaction. The voice direction can be calculated from the difference in the lengths between the sound source and microphones, and this difference can be obtained from the phase difference at each microphone. The robot can read to change the expression on its face and reply with its voice, turning to fice the human who calls the robot.
