This report gives a proper understanding of conceptual power control by using space vector control techniques and it's quality improvement conducted with DFIG, back to back converter technology and its control schemes (such as direct and in-direct space vector modulation schemes) along with their characteristics and limitations for power quality improvement. The proposed BTB with ISVM control technique simplifies the detection of the nearest three vectors, the generation of switching sequences and also having lesser THD percentage. Therefore ISVM is more efficient than BTB with DSVM control scheme.
