Are future IT practitioners ethically responsible?

摘要

This paper describes a survey done in 1999 at a South African university to determine the ethical awareness (relating to Information Technology) of students at different computer literacy levels. It is shown that education and awareness programmes are necessary to improve ethical reasoning and responsible behaviour.
