图书馆作为研究和学习的基础设施

摘要

This paper discusses the role played by the University of Botswana Library in the learning, teaching and research.Based on the University of Botswana's strategy for excellence the library has come up with various programs that are intended to assist the university achieve its mission.Among programmes offered by the library there are those intended for freshmen and those meant for research students.The main objective of these programmes is to empower students to become information literate as well as be in a position to maximize the benefits of library resources and services.
