Disclosed in the present application is a continuously variable transmission, comprising planetary gears. Each planetary gear comprises a ring gear, a planet carrier and a sun gear. In the two planetary gears, the ring gears, the planet carriers and the sun gears are in series connection correspondingly. The ring gears in the two planetary gears are in transmission connection; the sun gears in the two planetary gears are in transmission connection; the planet carriers in the two planetary gears are in transmission connection. In the three transmission connection lines, one or more are in fixed-rotating-speed-difference variable transmission. The continuously variable transmission further comprises a speed regulator. The speed regulator is connected in series in one of the transmission connection lines and used for continuously regulating a variable speed difference of the transmission connection line where the speed regulator is located. The transmission connection line where the speed regulator is located and the transmission connection line where variable transmission is located are different transmission connection lines. According to the continuously variable transmission provided by the present solution, the planetary gears are used to achieve all-geared engagement; the continuously variable transmission has the characteristic of zero crossing point continuous speed regulation and is also large in transmission power and high in transmission efficiency.
