METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRACEABILITY OF A PRODUCT IN A SUPPLY CHAIN NETWORK

A method and product tracing system (101) for traceability of a product in a supply chain network is disclosed. The product tracing system (101) accesses database (105) having Unique Computational Coefficients (UCC) for product routed in supply chain and embedded with unique labels. Further, the product tracing system (101) obtains a prestored first Computed Serial Code (USC) associated with product. The image data comprises images of product captured through one or more windows, and colour information from one or more patches, and the one or more windows and the one or more patches are attachable during packaging of product. Thereafter, the product tracing system (101) generates one or more subsequent USC for product while product is routing via a plurality of stages in supply chain and verifies with first USC for product serialization and tracing in supply chain.
