To provide a new inspection method capable of simply inspecting characteristics of a lipid double membrane.SOLUTION: An inspection method for characteristics of a lipid double membrane formed on a contact surface between a first bubble covered with a lipid single membrane and a second bubble covered with a lipid single membrane is provided that: includes an internal pressure detecting step, a long or short diameter detecting step, and a contact angle detecting step; and calculates a tension γ of the lipid double membrane on the basis of a detection value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
