A method for establishing a prediction model of microorganism-derived dissolved organic nitrogen in sewage, the prediction model being an ASM-mDON prediction model established using the operating parameters of an active sludge treatment section of a sewage plant, component concentration in the influent water, kinetic parameters, and stoichiometry. The specific establishment method comprises: establishing a kinetic equation that takes microorganism-derived dissolved organic nitrogen as an object, establishing an ASM-mDON prediction model, implementing model initialisation, calibrating the parameter values by means of simulation software, and optimising the prediction model. Also disclosed is an application of the method for establishing a prediction model of microorganism-derived dissolved organic nitrogen in sewage in the prediction of microorganism-derived dissolved organic nitrogen in sewage.
