Knives, forks, and spoons, cleaning.-A collector and washer for knives, forks, spoons, and other table implements is divided into two compartments b, c, the latter being used for knives only. A tray of metal, or of wood riveted to a metal frame, rests on guide-rods f fixed to the ends of the receptacle c, and reciprocates therein. Slots e1 are formed in the tray, and a rod i mounted in slots j at its ends retains the knives in position in the slots e'. Overflow holes in the front wall of the receptacle c, which is taller than the receptacle b, keep the knife handles dry. Handles g, h are provided for the knife tray and casing. The motion of the tray may be rotary, or the tray may be mounted on standards. ,
