Wine; beverages, materials for.-Wines and other still alcoholic liquids are rendered nourishing by dissolving in them hydrolized or digested preparations of albumen or other proteids, such as meat powders containing these substances, together with substances to neutralize wholly or partly the acidity of the wine &c., such as neutral tartrate, citrate, or malate of potassium, or an alkali or alkaline earth.
