28,948. S÷nsthagen, A. Dec. 16. Cleaning-devices.-Nozzles for icing cakes and confectionery are constructed as shown in Figs. 5 and 7. The form shown in Fig. 5 is used in a machine and is fitted with a hollow pin 16 which has a hole near the lower end, a second hole opening into the compartment 20. Icing-material is fed through the pipe 12 to the compartment 13a, while compressed air may be admitted to the compartment 20 and blown through to clear the nozzle. Fig. 7 shows a form for hand use. Icing is admitted through a valve operated by a key 55, and compressed air for cleaning purposes through a valve operated by a key 56. The tube 60 is fitted for convenient handling.
