In the apparatus described in the parent Specification, a mist lubrication is formed from a lubricant having a viscosity in the range of 1000-5600 S.U.S. at 100 DEG F. and from air having a temperature of at least 150 DEG F. Alternatively the lubricant may have a viscosity above 75,000 S.U.S. with air at a temperature of at least 250 DEG F. If desired, the air can be heated to a temperature above the flash-point of the lubricant, but less than the break-down temperature.
