[Also in Division G1] Apparatus for providing atmospheres of different relative humidities comprises cabinet 1 having a plurality of moisture-proof compartments 3, each compartment having a door (4), a fan (13) in each compartment, a common drive means for the fans, for example an electric motor driving all the fan shafts by means of a common chain (17) and located in the cabinet behind the compartments, and a timing means for controlling operation of the fans. A vessel containing salt solution is placed on the floor of each compartment.
