The member may have various shapes for different purposes. In one embodiment, members are in the form of musical notes which may be located in any desired positions on score lines printed on a base material such as paper. In another embodiment, members with various geometric shapes are adapted to be placed on a printed outline to form a picture. Reference is made to members in the form of symbols, figures, letters, &c. which may be used in teaching arrangements relating to language, arithmetic, &c.
