The assembly kit, for helping students to understand electronic components and to experiment comprises a base plate with quadratic divisions, distance blocks, components and connections. Distance blocks are attached to the base at every other junction on a line, alternate lines being offset, each block comprising a quadratic base section and cross shaped upper section. The blocks together hold the components, the largest of which has a quadratic base, with a vertical groove in each of its four narrow sides. The largest component has transistors, thyristors, miniature transformers, potentiometers.
