The frequency of the oscillations to be generated corresponds to the signal phase pattern. Inverting output (A1) of a digital gate (G) is fed back to its one input through a delay line (K). The irregular digital signal train is applied to the gate (G) second input (E2), and the continuous oscillation is collected from the gate other output (A2). The irregular digital signal sequence is of the return-to-zero form. An alternative form for non-return-to-zero signals uses a differentiating circuit with two OR gate elements with the output of the first passing to the second through a delay element.
