摘要

The digital method presented, called the Method of the Differential Correction (MCD), permits the correction of the phase error in a periodic function to be continuously sampled. This is the case when the period of the function is not an integer multiple of the sampling rate. The method suggested assumes that a function generation algorithm is known in its first period, which can interpolate or extrapolate any sample of the function in the mentioned period. Relevant considerations are made for applications of the method in real time, which is of interest in dedicated circuitry (by software, hardware or firmware), which is the case, for instance, in signal processing oriented VLSI designs.
