The printing is particularly desinged for toroidal-shaped zones on covex flanks of cooking pans etc. A kinematic connection is formed between the spindle (24) which carries the object to be printed and the frame (20) which supports the printing screen stencil, and consists of a gear wheel (30) on the spindle and a toothed rod on the frame. The pitch diameter (Dp) of the gear wheel's teeth is barely less than the circle of greater diameter (D') of the silk screen. The rear side of the screen is pressed on and wiped by a smoothing blade (34) or deformable tampon whose wiper border is hollow and has a curvature complementary to that of a section of the convex circular zone to be printed.
