The switch consists of a spring-loaded stem one end of which rotates about an axis (6) on a sliding bridge (2). The bridge slides along a straight guide (1). The other end of the stem slides along another guide (8) in the opposite direction. The guides are arranged parallel to each other. The position of the stem is controlled by a handle (17). The rest positions are the two extreme positions along each guide. The spring (7) has two concentric telescopic parts (12, 13) and these are prevented from turning reciprocally by a mechanism (14, 15).
