The lifting load platform has a platform (28, 29) which can be raised and lowered by means of at least two parallel connecting link parallelograms. In order to be able to load a vehicle from a ramp without utilising the load platform (28, 29), the load platform (28, 29) must be moved out of the area of the end (6) of the vehicle in such a way that it does not project beyond the said end (6). For this purpose, the connecting link parallelograms (12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 27) are attached with their lifting cylinder-side connecting links (12, 17, 18) to a carriage (7) which can be displaced in guide carriers (10) underneath the superstructure of the vehicle. In this way, the entire lifting loading platform, including the lifting mechanism (14, 15, 16) and the platform (28, 29) can be moved completely under the superstructure of the vehicle without any part of the lifting platform projecting beyond the rear (6) of the vehicle. It is not necessary to lower the platform (28, 29) in order to permit the ramp to be moved onto. IMAGE
