The shovel attachment is designed and equipped to pick up and screen rocks mixed with earth. The shovel is open at the front with two side walls (2), a rear wall (3) and a base (1) the side walls being flanked by external runners (6). The rear wall and the base are formed by parallel longitudinal 'L' shaped bars (9) at uniform transverse centres, supported by beams (10) spanning between the runners, and fixing to a strut (11) spanning the rear head of the side walls. Stub axles (4) on the side wall and coupling points on the strut provide for fixing to the tractor, a hydraulic vibrator (13) also being mounted on the strut or spanning the heads of the side walls.
