Paper cup lining machine using plastic films - for uniform low-cost lining using extremely thin thermoplastic film

The machine comprises a first conveyor with supports for the film, which is moved past a station for introducing the film, one or more heating stations and a deep-drawing station. During deep-drawing in the last station, the conveyor is disposed opposite a support for one or more paper cups, the support being provided on a second conveyor with several of these supports. The film s heated with hot air nozzles, and is retained by the same supports mounted on the first conveyor both in the heating stations and in the deep-drawing station. Pref. the supports for the film consist of mandrels which engage the film edge and which are arranged in a closed row around the deep-drawing zone of a piece of film material forming one or more cup linings.
