The sheet etc. is made by rolling an alloy contg. by wt. 0.03-0.08% Cu, 0.005-0.05% Se, remainder Pb. The pref. alloy contains 0.01-0.025% Se. Pb-Cu alloys possess high corrosion resistance and high ductility, and are used, as roof coverings; pipes; ducts; for sound absorption; or as sheaths on telecommunication- or electric power-cables. The invention uses an addn. of Se to improve the mechanical properties of the alloy.
