The swing bolster (1) is used for a middle truck in an electric locomotive of the three-truck type. It is provided with a main electric motor (5) and the underframe of the electric locomotive is laterally movably supported on the middle truck through rollers which are rotatively disposed between the underframe and the roller mountings arranged at left and right sides of the side frame members of the middle truck. Each of the rollers (2) is divided into two to be respectively positioned in front and behind of the main electric motor. -
