In this arrangement, it is advantageous if the device (1) has a driven screwdriving means for releasing and/or tightening a fastening screw (4) between the loose flange (5) and a fixed flange (3) so that the release and fastening of the saw blade (2) can also be mechanised. The device (1) thus permits refinements if, for example, two grippers (8) are provided which accelerate the changing of the saw blade and automate the changing when an appropriate control system is used.
