Device for measuring or analyzing maxillo-dental structures comprising an illumination source (6), a optodétecteur (8) and an integral linear displacement transducer (9). The illumination source is used to illuminate the transparency by maxillo-dental structures, while optodétecteur receives light having passed through the maxillo-dental structure. The linear displacement transducer enables rapid and accurate spatial measurements of distance and structures comprising the maxillo-dental environment. The system is particularly suitable for intraoral examination, measurement and analysis of teeth before they occur and interdental spaces to detect any food condition that might prevent the development of maxillofacial dental match. A computerized iterative procedure is used to control and modify a preventive diet or treatment.
